To Our Valued Clients, Patients, and Friends,
During the past twelve months, hurricanes and tropical storms have dramatically impacted people in our area, both personally and professionally. As many of you are aware, and despite the best laid plans, Hurricane Irma significantly impacted Golden Isles Animal Hospital. Due to extenuating circumstances beyond our control, we have been displaced for more than six months as a result of damage to our building sustained during and after the hurricane. Thanks to the generosity and kindness of Dr. Kathy Strickland and her staff at Brunswick Pet ER, we have been able to provide interim services at 208 Scranton Connector. We know that this has been a challenge to you, our valued clients and friends, and we want to thank you for your unwavering support during this difficult transition. Our appreciation for your loyalty during this time cannot be understated.
After a thorough review of all available options, it is with excitement and joy that we announce that Golden Isles Animal Hospital will be soon be operating from a new home! We have secured space at 1953 Glynn Avenue, previously known as the “Waves” building. It is located directly at the end of the St. Simons Island Causeway and Highway 17, with easy access from both north and south Brunswick, as well as St. Simons Island. Our new location is only a few blocks from our previous location and will allow us to provide an even greater level of service, medicine, surgery, and boarding. We are diligently at work designing the layout of our new facility to maximize patient and client comfort, as well as diagnostic and treatment efficiency.
We anticipate being fully operational at our new location in late summer or early fall. While changes to our physical location have altered where we temporarily provide veterinary care, it has not changed our commitment to your pet’s well-being. The Golden Isles Animal Hospital team remains committed to taking care of all of your pet’s needs.
Until we relocate to our new office, we will continue to provide medical services from 208 Scranton Connector and boarding at 9 Glynn Avenue. Please continue to check our Facebook page, your email, and our website (www.goldenislesanimalhospital.com), for updates as we embark on this journey together! Again, we thank you for your continued support and look forward to continuing to serve you and your furry family members!
